On December 2024, the Sudeten Philharmonic in Wałbrzych transformed into a true Viennese operetta salon. The New Year’s Eve Concert: The Golden Era of Viennese Operetta transported the audience to the times of Johann Strauss II, Franz Lehár, and Emmerich Kálmán, offering an unforgettable evening filled with waltzes, arias, and duets.
The stage was graced by exceptional artists – Aleksandra Szmyd (soprano) and Krzysztof Zimny (tenor), with the entire concert conducted by the renowned Michał Juraszek. They were accompanied by the Sudeten Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, bringing the richness of the Viennese style to life. The audience enjoyed some of the most famous operetta pieces that have enchanted music lovers for generations.
